Oh-so-pretty macarons from the magical Laduree Paris
I can't help but notice that color is everywhere recently. And while that may not be surprising, we are slightly surprised in seeing bright colors in the kitchen--on the cabinetry. I'm loving this trend, it reminds me of the bright colors seen in Laduree shops. And better yet in addition to being on trend, painting your cabinets is also an inexpensive way to achieve a whole new look (added bonus!) Here I have compiled a few of my favorite colorful kitchens I've seen so far:

I'm loving the mix of the yellow cabinetry, white marble, industrial accents, and the decorative moldings. From Veranda November/December 2011. Interior Design by Julie Hayes.
The tall height, Moorish pendant, dark floors, and loud teal cabinetry gives this kitchen
a contemporary cool look. As seen in Harper's Bazaar October 2011.
Get this retro-chic look by painting cabinets a light teal.

Yes once again I'm showcasing J. Lo's house--I can't get over her amazing pale blue cabinets.
The chartreuse cabinets give this kitchen an ultra-chic edge.
